Everything you need to know

Joining a new studio can feel daunting, but at M FITNESS STUDIO I provide a warm, welcoming, and relaxed setting.  Here you will find answers to common questions about our Reformer and Mat Pilates classes, what to expect, and studio amenities at Charnock Richard Country Club.

Frequently asked questions

I am a total beginner—can I still join?

Absolutely. You are completely welcome here. If you are trying Reformer Pilates for the first time, you will be shown how the bed works before we start. Every movement is clearly explained and guided with gentle progressions and modifications so you can grow in confidence with every session.

What should I wear and bring with me?

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing. Grip socks are mandatory for all Reformer classes. For Mat classes, please bring your own exercise mat. I also recommend bringing a water bottle to keep hydrated during your workout.

Why is there a no mirrors rule in the studio?

Our studio is a peaceful sanctuary designed for you to take some time out and focus inward. Without mirrors, you can concentrate on how your body feels rather than how it looks, creating a non-judgmental and calming environment for everyone.

How do I book or cancel my classes?

All bookings and timetable reservations are managed quickly and conveniently via the Gymcatch app. Download Gymcatch, search for M FITNESS STUDIO, and secure your spot in just a few taps.

Can I attend if I am recovering from an injury?

Yes. Please let me know prior to the class so we can discuss your circumstances. I will work alongside you to modify exercises and support your gentle rehabilitation back into full fitness safely.

What facilities and parking are available on site?

We are based at Charnock Richard Country Club (PR7 5LE), formally the Laurels, where you will find ample free on-site parking, modern toilet facilities, and lovely coffee and drink amenities available at the club for after your workout.
